The process
Stage 1: Reception
Each piece of e-waste on our journey starts from your homes and businesses. We make it easy for you to contribute by offering a convenient pickup service. When you are ready to donate your electronic items, click "Schedule a Pickup" in the "How to Help" menu! You can schedule a pickup thereby providing your contact information, and our team will take it from there.
Stage 2: Categorization
Our dedicated team carefully categorizes each donated item based on its condition and potential for repurposing. We assess if the item falls into the categories of complete waste, dated but still functioning, or completely operational electronics.
Stage 3: Distribution
Depending on the category, we take appropriate action to maximize the impact of each item. Complete waste items are sent to certified recycling facilities for responsible disposal. Items still in working condition will be wiped of their data and repurposed to underserved communities.
Stage 4: Donor Gratification
As a valued donor, we believe in keeping you informed about the journey of your contribution. Through regular updates, you'll have the opportunity to witness firsthand how your item is being utilized by the individuals or communities it reaches.
